At Freedom Hall, we have orchestrated many deliciously successful themed parties - including Bluegrass Barbecues, Casino Nights and Kentucky Derby "Mock Racing" parties.
Satisfy Your Appetite for Success
It is indeed a challenge at the Kentucky Exposition Center to satisfy such a diverse group of meeting planners and show managers in such a wide range of facilities. Yet, it is one we accept willingly because it allows the staff at Centerplate to truly "strut our stuff." Serving 18,000 for dinner? No problem. You'll find we are just as adept at planning a breakfast for 10, a multi-course black tie banquet for 1,600 as we are serving up concession-type fare to feed tens of thousands of guests each day.
We are also extremely proud of our satisfaction rating. Our managers work closely with clients to design catering and concession programs that retain 98 percent of guests for meal and beverage service. We offer many customized services such as picnics, boxed lunches, chef performance stations and more. A real crowd pleasing favorite, our portable "Taste of Kentucky Bistro," features grilled specialties like a one-half pound butterflied pork chop sandwich, a rib-eye sandwich, fried catfish or trout sandwich, hushpuppies, fries and other Southern fixings.
