Accessible Needs

Kentucky Exposition Center has made a firm commitment to provide each guest with an enjoyable atmosphere in a clean and safe surrounding, making each patron’s visit to our facilities a positive experience.

Kentucky Exposition Center is wheelchair accessible and accommodating to patrons who have limited mobility or are blind, visually impaired, deaf or hard of hearing. To accommodate our guests with accessibility requirements, below is a list of general information to assist with any questions you may have.

If your requirement is not addressed or you need further clarification, please contact 502-367-5000 for assistance or any event related need you may have.

Accessible Parking
Accessible parking spaces are available in the lots directly adjacent to the Kentucky Exposition Center buildings. Vehicles which park in the designated accessible parking spaces must display either the temporary hang tag or a permanent state license plate with the accessible parking notations. All parking in these spaces is on a first come, first served basis.

Accessible Tickets
Accessible seating is available for all events at Kentucky Exposition Center and can be purchased through the Kentucky Exposition Center Box Office (502-367-5144) or through Ticketmaster (800-745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com). We highly recommend guests contact our ticket office directly, as our staff is more intimately knowledgeable about our facilities and they will provide the best service for our guests with accessible requirements. When you are ordering accessible tickets, it is important to indicate that you require accessible seating and provide as much information as possible so that we may properly seat you in a location which best fits your needs.

Accessible And Wheelchair Seating Policy
Accessible seating is reserved exclusively for guests with accessible requirements and their companions. Guests requiring accessible seating may purchase one (1) accessible seat and up to two (2) companion seats adjacent to the accessible seat. Depending upon availability, seats for additional guests will be located as close as possible to the accessible space. This policy ensures we are able to accommodate all who require accessible seating.

Kentucky Exposition Center is committed to working with guests on a case-by-case basis to adequately accommodate individual needs. All ticket sales are on a first come/call, first serve basis and will depend on ticket availability. There is no guarantee that any companion tickets will remain unsold and available. Please contact the Kentucky Exposition Center Ticket Office at 502-367-5144 for further questions / information.

Wheelchair Space Locations
Guests that require the use of a wheelchair and their respective companions may enjoy wheelchair space locations that are dispersed throughout the facility in numerous price ranges. Please contact the Kentucky Exposition Center Ticket Office at 502-367-5144 for seating inquiries or review the event detail section which will include an accurate seating diagram for each respective event.

Interpretative Services
Kentucky Exposition Center will arrange for interpretive services if notified at the time of purchase. Interpretive services cannot be guaranteed for every event, however, we will make every effort to accommodate each request with appropriate advance notice. We request that notices for this service be made a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to the event. Guests can contact the Kentucky Exposition Center Ticket Office at 502-367-5144 to request this service.

Service Animals / Guide Dogs
Service animals are welcome inside the building but must remain on a leash or harness at all times. Guests with service animals must either request an aisle seat or purchase the adjacent seat for their service animal if an aisle seat is not available. It is very important that we are aware of the requirement of a service animal at the time of purchase of the tickets to ensure seating availability upon our guests’ arrival.

Elevators
Assistance is available for any guests with accessible requirements who need access to the various levels in the arena. Guest Service staff is located adjacent each public elevator on the arena concourse and will gladly help or provide direction to anyone who requests assistance.

Accessible Restrooms
Accessible restrooms are available at all men’s and women’s restrooms located throughout the main concourse.

Accessible restrooms for men and women in the upper arena are available on the upper concourse in the four corners.
