01.6.2024 – Architect Selected for the Kentucky Exposition Center Phase I Property Improvements
Kentucky Venues is excited to share that a critical step has been made toward envisioning the future of the Kentucky Exposition Center. After careful review and consideration, Schmidt Associates has been selected as the architect for the $180 million Phase I Property Improvements.
Phase I Property Improvements could include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Exhibition Hall 3 (new)
- North Wing/East Hall (expansion/renovation)
- Kitchen
- Enabling Infrastructure & Demolition
The project is in the early stages of the pre-design and scope development phase, which is expected to take 120 days. The remainder of the schedule will be decided during that time.
