Think Ink: Louisville Tattoo Arts Convention

The Louisville Tattoo Arts Convention draws world-class tattoo artists, enthusiasts and television personalities to the Kentucky Exposition Center April 28-30 for body art, seminars, contests and entertainment. This is the sixth year for the annual convention.

More than 200 tattoo artists will attend the show to display their body art. Attendees seeking a tattoo can look for artists accepting walk-up clients or schedule ahead by contacting the artists directly.

The convention sponsors 40 different tattoo contests throughout the weekend, ranging from most unusual to best traditional, overall to cover up, best portrait to best painting, and more.

The Louisville Tattoo Arts Convention takes place in East Hall. Hours are:

Friday, April 28        2 p.m.-12 a.m.

Saturday, April 29    11 a.m.-12 a.m.

Sunday, April 30      11 a.m.-8 p.m.

Tickets are available at the door and admission is $20 per day and $40 for a three-day pass. Children 12 and under are free. Parking at the Kentucky Exposition Center is $8 per vehicle and $20 per bus.
